Maybe it was Sandra Bullock‘s bangs at the Golden Globes or my friend’s recently acquired fringe trimmed sofa but I am seeing fringe aplenty these days.  This led me to consider my favorite fringe-tinged items currently on the market.

William Rast for Target® Fringed Leather Jacket in Black : Target is buttery soft and for $199 you can rock this trend.

This long fringe fishtail skirt provides maximum impact in a minimal silhouette.  Buy at openingceremony.us

Susan Farber light plum suede fringe crossbody bag – Polyvore for $297.00 is both luxe and on the fringe.

Play up your fringe with your make-up by using M.A.C False Lashes masacara which retails for $18 at maccosmetics.com and nordstrom.com.

Or add these natural looking and nicely detailed fringy false lashes by Urban lash eye lashes Come Hither – False eyelashes – Make up …

I love to watch the fashion on the Golden Globes and this year was especially yummy.  There was so much to consider but I managed to select the top two best dressed looks for men and women.  Johnny Depp, of course, was not just wearing a Ralph Lauren black label tuxedo.  He made the look his own by wearing a winged collar sans cravat.  Robert Downey Jr., who also defied convention by skipping the tux altogether and rocking a sleek suit with bold red tie, gets my second vote.

Nearly each and every lady was beautifully dressed but Anne Hathaway wore a copper scaled sexy backless Armani Privee gown that blew me away.  This is my top pick of the evening.

Runner up goes to Olivia Wilde who looked sensational in this chocolate Marchesa gown chock full of tulle and stones.  While much more of a confection than the other gown, it held an elegant restraint matched by her sleek bangs and straight hair.
